Farida Sukhia
CA, CBV, CPA (Delaware)
Farida Sukhia has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia since 2002. She has also been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Delaware) since 2000. Farida obtained her CBV designation in 2007 from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
Immediately before joining Blair Mackay Mynett Valuations Inc., Farida spent a year working for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their Dispute Analysis and Valuations Practice. She was involved in business valuations, including the valuation of intangible assets for purchase price allocations. Farida was also involved in assignments related to the quantification of economic loss claims and investigative/forensic accounting.
Prior to her time in PwC’s Dispute Analysis and Valuations Practice, Farida worked in their Audit and Assurance Group for 4 ½ years. During this time, Farida gained significant experience in the high-tech sector. She also became familiar with US GAAP during a year long secondment to San Jose, California and Houston, Texas.
